Red Cross Opens Shelters for Madison and
Limestone County Residents
HUNTSVILLE, Ala., March 2, 2012
— The American Red Cross has
opened shelters at the following locations
for those affected by the severe weather
today.
Good Shepherd United Methodist Church
1418 Old Railroad Bed Road
Madison, AL 35757
Locust Grove Baptist Church
171 County Lake Road
New Market, AL 35761
Red Cross disaster action teams are on the
ground assessing the damage and using
Emergency Response Vehicles to distribute
snacks and water to families whose homes
were affected by the severe weather. For
more information about Red Cross assistance,
affected families should call their local
Red Cross office.

food, emotional support and other assistance
